Bio
Carl first picked up the Guitar in 1978 at the tender age of 9. His Ears were alive to the sounds around him. Queens anthem-We Will Rock You was blasting out from every radio, as were Dire Straights with Sultans of swing, Kansas with Dust in the wind and everybody was singing to oxygen by The Sweet...'78 was a great year for guitar based music and all its influences.... Throughout the 80s and 90s he has been guitarist for many local bands such as KRAZE,THE LOVEABLE ROGUES,and MR FIXIT..Then more Recently Playing for Birmingham A.O.R, legends SHY, Black Country Rock Band BAND OF BROTHERS and Cover Band LIVE AND LET ROCK..
.Now in 2019 he has accomplished many musical goals, treading the boards with some of his childhood heroes such as GRAHAM BONNETT,PAUL RODGERS,GIRLSCHOOL,WAYSTED and TYGERS OF PENTANG.. Carl remains a busy session player and is working on many projects, including JAMAICA INN album by LEE SMALL(Shy/phenomena) and features on the PHENOMENA AWAKENINGS Album by TOM GALLEY alongside some of rocks best vocalists such as James Christian,Rob Moratti and Lee Small ..also two albums by Prog Genius STEVE GRESSWELL- MONOTROPHUS and the latest INNER ROAD album heavily features Carls Blistering guitarwork...3 solo instrumental albums are also in the pipeline,including remastered version of the enigmatic guitar chill-out 1st GUITAR ON THE MOON album......Watch this space...... ....
